Slithering Shadow tone change
I've been doing a buddy read of all the Conan books with a friend, and honestly it's been great! At least it was until I got to Slithering Shadow, and rhen it was great for... different reasons.
The tone change from steady dripping horror, to lesbian 50 Shades of Gray, back to horror, is hilarious.
Its kind of funny because up until Black Colossus and Slithering Shadow, I was kind of wondering how Conan got his lusty reputation. Well, I know now.
