Hello everyone! I’m entering my 4th year, and I have a question about graduating next year (I know I’m asking way ahead, just starting to get excited at the prospect haha).

In my 4th year, I’ll need to take 1 more class in the spring to graduate (just a misc. class to get 3 credits). Can I convocate in June with the rest of the summer grads or will I likely need to wait till winter?

I’m barely behind due to a medical diagnosis I’ve been dealing with since 1st year, but I’ve worked very hard to try and graduate within 4 years. I do plan to speak to an advisor as well, but I thought it was worth seeing if anyone had any insight here as well.

Thank you guys, enjoy the lovely weather!

I’m seeing a handful of posts from fellow psych students about being unable to enroll in higher level psychology courses. A couple weeks ago, we received an email, here it is copy/pasted.

“PLEASE NOTE that there are no exceptions to the following timeline:

Psychology majors/minors and Neuroscience Honors students having completed 90 credits are given priority until May 14 in 300-level and 400-level PSYCH courses.

Psychology majors/minors and Neuroscience Honors students having completed 60 credits may begin registering in 300-level and 400-level PSYCH courses May 15 (around 10am).

All other students may begin registering June 2 (around 10am).”

I remember last year they made it super late because they’re trying to compensate for all the students in later years, who are forced to graduate later due to the limited seats in high level psychology classes (despite high demand).

If any of the above does not apply to you, then email them immediately.
