I have a coworker that always wants to themselves on the go home early list at work. This coworker is married and has financial support at home. I don’t have any help with my finances so I usually can’t put myself on the go home early list. One day said coworker states that they felt bad about continually writing their name down on the go home early list, she didn’t want other coworkers to feel like they couldn’t put themselves on the list too because she has already written her name down. I felt offended because I can’t write my name down on the list because of financial reasons that the said coworker doesn’t have to worry about. How can I not feel offended or take comments like my coworkers personally?
