Hi, I am a SWE1 at Microsoft with around 10 months of experience now. I do like the work I do but like I don’t enjoy going to office neither do I feel connected to anyone there since most of my team is remote. I cant remember the last time I was really happy in office, all I do is work and come back. This looks like the life of a 50 year old and honestly this is not what I want from life at this point. I feel at this early stage of career I should have some good people around me whom I can lookup to. Although my team and manager is great and very supportive, it is difficult to have any bonding with them due to remote nature of work. I don’t know what to do.
Considering the money as well, I am not very much satisfied on that part but more than that the environment is what is affecting me the most. I don’t know if this reason should be enough to consider a switch, I am not prepared for a switch as well right now but I was thinking to start again. Any suggestions?
