2013 Subaru BRZ - Manual Transmission - 88k-ish miles

There's been this sort of electric whining noise coming from my engine bay that gets louder as you apply gas (and the RPM goes up).

Here are a couple videos from inside the engine bay, driving out of my garage into the driveway, and a short video on the highway. The noise is a lot louder/worse in person than it is depicted in the videos below:

• Engine Bay
• From inside the car/window (please ignore my wife opening a can of coke 😂)
• On the freeway (sound is kind of drowned out by road noise, but you can kind of hear it)

Is this my alternator going bad or something else? Trying to figure out if this is something I could DIY or if it's something I would need to bring into the shop for.
