Fantasy Luz Quartzite - Grey near seams?
I'd love some advice from any stone care experts here. We had Fantasy Luz Quartzite installed in our kitchen. The stone is great and we love it. Most of the seams look great as well. However, the seam on our island has deep grey marks on both sides of it (see pics). Initially, the installer said these were water from the installation and it would go away. It's been 9 months and they're still present. We can't seem to get a clear answer on what this might be, though the contractor and stone folks are suggesting ways to try to address it.
Before we take any action, I'd love to understand what it might be so that we can take the right action. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any idea what might have caused this? Thank you in advance.
