unsure if i just witnessed sorority hazing or something but outside of tercero there was a group of 10 or so girls who were wearing only trash bags and had really messed up makeup on. looked like a hazing ritual, maybe i am misinterpreting it? anyone got the scoop?
Today, UHP sent out their admissions decisions for first-year students who were interested in joining during their second year on campus. While rejections and acceptances are going to always have some emotional ties, UHP's handling of this year's admissions decisions was embarrassing and inherently unprofessional. Today at 11:29, I received an acceptance letter (image 1), telling me I had been accepted conditionally to the UHP. Obviously, this was extremely exciting, as I'd been hoping to join since I stepped foot on campus. However, eight minutes later, I was sent another email from the same address, containing a rejection letter (image 2). In the moment, I hoped it was simply a mistake and emailed the address back, expecting a silly explanation. Unfortunately, five minutes later, I was sent another rejection letter (image 3) and was given a flimsy apology. This handling of admissions decisions is unacceptable. The emotional roller coaster I, and others, have been taken on over the last twenty minutes of our lives is unacceptable. Do better, Davis.
ive been a consistent user of quizlet for YEARS and enjoyed using the site. occasionally, i'd pay for quizlet+ as a means of locking in for an assignment. that was until recently when i apparently need quizlet + premium UNLIMITED to actually use the features they offer. what a way to kill your site. will never be using again.
