Renting a home in Fresno CA, and we have been here for about a month and a half. This morning I woke up to see 3 large oriental cockroaches in my bedroom. My question is, does this fall under an emergency? I called the landlord emergency line, they told me that this is not an emergency, and that pest control falls under the tenant’s care and that they can’t do anything because it was not on the lease agreement. Does this breach any California Law?
