I have a 93 nighthawk 750. Usually cold starts are fine, but whenever the engine is warm I push the starter button and I just get a click from what I assume to be the solenoid. To get it working again I periodically have to smack the starter housing with whatever is in my pocket. Based on this I'm assuming its the brushes, but i've never been through a motorcycle starter before, so I'm not sure what the process is to replace the brushes, or other components that could be causing this issue.
