2026 bmw m340i - Ontario, Canada

Update edit:

Thanks for everyone’s feedback.

Couple things: this is our new second car so only will use it to go back and forth to work hence the low km.

I only found this group today after completing the deal a few weeks ago.

I used unhaggle as my price point to see how low to go and it showed dealer cost of $77,105 so making it to $78k seemed reasonable.

I purposely put as little down as possible as I read that works out best when leasing which is the reason for the higher payments.

I did a 3 year lease as it is a bmw and my biggest concern is reliability and having the 3 year warranty covers that.

There is a possibility I may decide to buy out at the end of the lease and this option is actually cheaper then if I were to finance at 5.99%.

Would love to hear everyone’s feedback on how to better negotiate this in the future. Could I have pushed back to go even lower on the msrp?

Brand new 26 m340i. Found this in my glove compartment on top of the owners Manual. Glove box still opens smoothly seems operational.

Not sure if this is a big deal but a piece of broken plastic tab was found the same day I picked up my car (of course after I left the dealership) I can’t seem to find where exactly it broke off of.

Finally decided to pull the trigger on this white rabbit 2026 m340i. I’ve always been pretty frugal with my finances and debated back and forth if it was the right time to own even though we are able to mange the payments. Started the search with wanting a 330e then 330 m pro package and then finally kept looking at the m340i and couldn’t get away from it. My original dream car was the 2012 c63 amg but looking at all the cars now, I can’t get away from the aggressive look of a m340i where it doesn’t have that lady bug look like every other car now a days.

I ended up getting the m pro package, premium package and m performance exhaust (completely worth it imo)

I’ve had the car for 3 days now and it’s been sitting in my garage a lot as I try to avoid rain days and places they don’t have much parking where I can park far away from the reckless door dingers. (Completely honeymoon stage I know!) but man I love this car.

To do list:

20% front/5% back tint

5 year Ceramic coating
