Hi all! I’m looking for info on this plate, such as approx date of production, and value. It was purchased in Stow-on-the-Wold, England in the early 90s. Anything you can tell me about it is much appreciated. The back stamp is hard to read, but I believe it says Doulton Burslem.
I’m thinking #1 may be a sediveria, possibly Letizia? Google tells me #2 is a PVN, but I don’t think so. # 3 and 4 were both freebies, so I have no idea what they are.
This painting has been in my family for several generations. According to my mom, it was acquired by her uncle from a French nun, who painted it. I’m guessing that would be anywhere from the 1920s to 1940s, but that’s a guess. There is no signature that I can find. I believe it is in its original frame. The cardboard backer on it reads “T.A. Chapman Co., Milwaukee”. Unfortunately it has sustained some damage to the canvas over the years. I just love it! Can anyone id it or the artist?
My new haws are all potted! First pic, Clockwise from the top: mystery haw (was told it’s an import), H. Emelyae ‘Sweetie’, H. Springbokvlakensis ‘Green Tiger’, unknown, unknown, H. Maughanii ‘Aurora’, and another mystery in the center. I love the center one! It looks like it’s covered in course sugar crystals. The one potted alone is Haworthiopsis truncata ssp. Okubo Lens.
Hi everyone! I recently purchased several new haworthias online. They all arrived bare root (or no root) and pretty dried out. I’m new to bare root and am unsure how to proceed. Should I just plop them in soil? Should I use rooting hormone on the ones without roots? Any help is appreciated!
