I constantly have trouble tracking drums at home, and I think a lot has to do with the microphones that I’m using. I’ve got a few sm57’s, as well as 2 58’s and a AKG D112 MKII. I’ve got about $300 dollars to spare, what would be my next logical purchase mic wise? Any tips on tracking drums at home are also greatly appreciated!
