So I forgot my password because I just keep my account logged /remember in my PC but I have formatted my PC and my account was logged out on my phone, and I just usually use my phone to scan and log in whenever I login on my second PC (which is on a different location).
So when I have to change my password, I am getting my OTPs through Whatsapp, I have the same contact number there so probably that's why but why is it being sent by the name of "XiRay-Auth". And then when I deleted my WhatsApp, now it's sending now on Viber, I have the same contact number again, but it is sent by another name "StellarLab". Now when I deleted the viber, i have now receiving the OTPs through SMS. I'm just worried, why is it being sent through these two platforms/apps with a different name, not steam?
In addition, when I'm trying to setup my steam guard again (I can't remember my recovery code), the OTP for setting up is being sent through a call with just a normal number, not SMS, though the call is just a system generated call just stating my OTP. But why not SMS?
I did use/input these OTPs that I have received and I was able to changed my password and all. It is a legit OTP, but should I be worried that I have used these OTPs?
All of these things got me worried if my account is breached or something, I'm the one who is requesting these OTPs but why is not directed on my SMS?
And Yes, I have changed my password numerous times now.
