People keep on saying focus on kids who want them. How many people is that?
Forget about desired fertility when push comes to shove how many Austrian families in the social housing in Vienna will have kids? Not many. Humans are for the most part driven to have sex based on conventional wisdom and in western countries and Asian counties the amount of sex has decreased rapidly. Is it because of social media or new social norms possibly but if the sex drive was built in for both genders is as strong as people describe it people would put down their phones and start asking people out. Turns out it’s not that strong especially for one gender over the other. If Norway built 2 million new homes and decreased the tax to a minimal level, had a job boom and solved climate change the TFR would probably decrease or increase by .1-.4
