Hello,
I am a 28yF and have tried every diet trend out there and have never been able to loose weight. The past couple months I’ve been looking into doing a calorie deficit.
I have been tracking what I eat for almost a month now. So far I’ve lost 8.6 lbs.
I am 5’3 and started at 294lbs. I have been trying to stay under 1,600-1,700 calories per day with a goal of getting about 100-120g of protein (some days I’m higher 140g+) I also try to stay under 70g of fat per day.
I have been walking a half mile once a day since I started & this current week I’ve increased it to two half mile walks. One in the morning when I first wake up and the second once I get off work for a total of 1 mile a day.
The first week I lost 2.6lbs
Second week I lost 5.2lbs
Last week I lost 0.8lbs
And today I weighed myself and I gained 0.2lbs.
I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. This past week I’ve increased my exercise (walking) by half a mile a day and I’ve been staying under 1,300 calories this week while still hitting 110g+ of protein per day.
I’m getting very discouraged as I was losing and now seem to be gaining and I’m chronically hungry so I’m getting extremely frustrated.
