[Online][5.5e][2024][Mondays 8PM Arizona MST][Biweekly Preferred][LGBTQ+ Friendly] RP-Focused Player Looking for Long-Term Campaign
Hi there! I'm Cherry and I’m looking for a long-term campaign to join as a player. My preferred time is Mondays at 8PM MST(the one in the US that doesn't change for daylight savings), ideally biweekly, though weekly can work depending on the group and campaign.
About me as a player:
I’ve been playing D&D for around 3 and a half years across multiple long-term campaigns while also DMing two of my own. I’m very roleplay-focused and love character interaction, emotional storytelling, party dynamics, and collaborative narratives where everyone gets moments to shine.
I try to be welcoming and inclusive at the table, especially toward quieter players who may need a little help getting involved in scenes or conversations. I also value strong communication both in and out of character. I can sometimes take wording a bit literally or misunderstand intent, so I appreciate groups that communicate openly and clearly rather than letting problems linger unresolved.
What I’m looking for:
- Heavy RP / character-driven storytelling (I'm not a fan of campaigns that are solely combat focused with no time for character interaction)
- Long-term campaign
- Collaborative players who enjoy building story together
- A group that enjoys emotional moments as much as humor
- LGBTQ+ friendly environment
- A DM who enjoys integrating character backstories into the world
- Balance between serious story moments and lighter interactions
Character Concept:
I’m hoping to play a character I've had in the woodwork for ages. Rune is a changeling cleric of the Passion Domain from a wealthy family of renowned healers. Despite their upbringing, Rune believes medicine and healing should belong to everyone, not just the wealthy. They’re energetic, compassionate, overly talkative, and a complete pacifist who refuses to intentionally harm others, but even though they don't join the fight to do damage they are a powerful battlefield controller, healer, and ability buffer.
Rune spent years traveling from town to town offering free medical aid, dancing in taverns, helping strangers, and trying to experience life outside the sheltered expectations of their family. During their travels they fell deeply in love with someone who later disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving Rune searching for answers while still trying to hold onto hope.
Mechanically they’re a support focused cleric centered around healing, utility, and roleplay rather than damage output.
If you think I’d be a good fit for your campaign, feel free to message me or leave a comment!
