A couple days ago, I finished reading {Unexpected Shift by Sedona Ashe} and in that book, one of the men who is fated to the FMC, decides that the FMC isn't the kind of mate that he wants, that he's prepared his whole life for, and sees her shifted form as ugly.

It occurred to me that over the hundred's of MMF/MFM and RH/WC books, that I've only read two where one of the members leaves the harem and one was Unexpected Shift.

The other book (whose name escapes me) was a CR setting and the FMC starts to date a pre-established harem with a child; the men lost the woman due to a car accident and they are struggling to be parents and with the grief of their old relationship. One of the men has such grief/anger about the old relationship, he actually moves out of the shared house and contemplates breaking away from the harem due to several issues.

And that's it! Just those two.

What I'm looking for/hoping to read:

  • MFM or MMF or RH/WC book (or series) where one of the men decides that being in a harem or thruple isn't for him. Now, he can come back later once he works out his issues, but there is a time where we have to adjust to not having Guy in our plot.

Likes:

  • All genres/sub genres welcome. I tend to not read a lot of HR, but I'll read it if it sounds good.
  • All settings and tropes welcome (CR, PNR, etc). Dark is fine! Bullying, great! MOC, mafia, secret societies, all cool. Magical academies, even better. There's very few settings/tropes that I dislike.
  • I so LOVE reading about toxic families, or toxic BFF's. So it's okay if the family or an ex is still around dragging any of the MC's through the mud.

Dislikes:

  • I'm kinda burned out on HEAVY BDSM books. I just don't want to read (right now at least) about a heavy D/s relationship. Lite BDSM is okay (like spanking) but it just seems like EVERY book I read has some sort of dominant man who uses sex as punishment and I'm just so over that.

Thank you in advance!! 💥💕💥
