Need help!! Cancelling a shift on Mother’s Day :/
Hi,
So I started working at a restaurant as a host for the first time. I was told to switch with another host and help walk food bc she was tired and it was super busy.
I ended up doing it for 6 hours straight with little to no breaks in between.
I woke up this morning with the WORST muscle pain i’ve ever experienced. I can barely lift my arms without feeling this strain and there’s this sharp pain on my right ribs.
I’m anxious to tell a manager about it incase it comes off that I’m making an excuse not to work a busy shift. I’m still new and I worked really hard to get this job.
What do I do?? :(( (for both the situation and or the pain)
