I might be wrong, but this is something I’ve been thinking about. I don’t fully believe people voted for change this time. To me, it feels more like people voted because of the actor factor.

If the focus was truly on change especially considering where Tamil Nadu stands today and what kind of leadership we actually need going forward would the outcome have been the same?

Also, when I look at the candidates, many of them are from other parties with the same old issues like corruption, caste politics, illegal backgrounds. So I’m honestly wondering what exactly is changing here?

Maybe I’m missing something. What convinced people that this is real change and not just a new face leading the same system?

Curious to hear different perspectives.
