I built an open-source skill called Prompt Sensei:

https://github.com/chengzhongwei/Prompt-sensei

We all know it by now. Prompting is key to unlock AI potentials. But learning how to write better prompts is not easy. Most people just learn by trial-and-error., including me.

So I built Prompt Sensei to help you and me improve faster.

The goal is not to judge users on what is done wrong. I want it to feel more like a caring mentor, helpful and encouraging. It gives one practical tip at a time, tracks improvement over time, and helps users build better prompting habits gradually.

This skill is not just a markdown file - I have some quite complex workflows. It’s an ambient agent to observe and give tips, it’s a workflow to track your improvements, it’s an assistant to help you improve a prompt… it’s everything you need to become a prompt guru.

I developed lots of features this weekend and made a beta release. I’ll keep testing it, collecting feedback and bug reports, and improving it over time.

I’d really appreciate it if you try it out and share any feedback! It’s open source, would appreciate contributions too!
