So I have this hideous drop ceiling in my apartment, and I would love to cover it. I've seen nice looking replacement tiles online, but I'd need 22 tiles for one room alone, which would run me several hundred dollars, not to mention the rest of the apartment. If I were to get these replacement tiles it would likely end up costing me over a thousand, which I simply don't have for this.

So my question is, are there any like, dirt cheap DIY ways to cover these things? Like could I use paper, or fabric or something? I'm in an apartment as well so I can't do anything super permanent, or paint it. I'm open to any suggestions, I just wanna cover this god awful ceiling.

I'd say my budget is probably like, $200 for the whole apartment (~1000sq ft), max.

Thank you

So I play games on my PC quite a bit, and my girlfriend likes to watch. We have an extra office chair for her to sit in and watch, but the issue is, there's now just like, a random office chair sitting in the middle of the room, with nowhere to really go.

So my question is, how would we best incorporate a guest chair or smthn into the setup so that it still looks clean but also so that my girlfriend still has a place to watch me play video games?
