living with children ..
i’m 18 and my mom has younger children (6 & 7) and i find that they often bring stomach bugs to the house. i’m most annoyed because i know that it can’t really be helped on their end but also because i was staying w my grandmother beforehand & had no problems with potentially infectious stomach bugs until they decided they wanted to move in with us. it was only supposed to be a week so they could find somewhere comfortable to stay while in the process of moving. it’s currently 5am and my younger brother t* up all over the bathroom & his bed apparently and i really have to piss 😭 but i am HORRIFIED. my grandma cleaned it & told me she hopes it’s just because he overate because he has a tendency to do that, but he never gets sick because of it. i don’t know if he has t* up since but it’s only been like 20 minutes. emetophobia has impacted how much i want kids (along with everything that comes with it lol) and what things i can and can’t do. i’m partially thankful because last time he brought and illness here everyone got severely sick while i never t* up. in a perfect world, when i wake up this morning, he’ll be off at school and perfectly okay but at the very least i hope he’s alright and doesn’t have anything serious & catchable. praying someone else relates in any way.
