Hey all

Bit of a weird situation here, im 35 at the moment. havent worked since the end of 2023 due to health reasons. Ended up having surgery at the start of this year and am fully recovered now. I kept upskilling in the time between 2023 and today, worked on projects, got some basic certs in data analysis.
Still unable to get interviews or even a call back.

Opportunity came up to do some admin work for a friends company. It's part time. 20 hours a week. Money is tight at the moment but its spiking my anxiety and I feel like its a dead end role. Do I just take the job and keep applying while working there? Worried its going to make me feel more crap about myself than I already am.
