Hi everyone,
I recently applied for the Canadian Banking – UX/Product Design Internship/Co-op – Fall 2026 opportunity at Scotiabank, and I’m extremely excited about the role. It feels like a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in UX, product design, research, and innovation within such a respected organization.
I’m currently enrolled at Centennial College in the Software Engineering program, where I’m developing strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. I believe this background would make me a great fit for a role that blends technology, design, and customer experience.
I’ve already completed the PLUM Profile, and I now have my one-way video interview scheduled as the next step in the process.
I wanted to reach out and ask if anyone here has gone through Scotiabank’s student hiring process or completed one of their one-way interviews before.
What should I expect?
How can I best prepare?
What helps increase my chances of standing out?
Any advice, insight, tips, or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I’m very interested in this opportunity and want to put my best foot forward.
Thank you so much in advance!
