My 60lb pitbull mix loves to get small little things stuck between her front tooth, typically plastic toys so we do our best but this type it was just a very small piece of her nail she chewed off.

She is VERY sensitive with her mouth and paws, always has been. Which lies the problem, we are unsuccessful at getting it off her front tooth. It honestly looks like a piece of corn stuck.

She is often licking her mouth, not much pawing. Been going on for 25 mins or so. We tried getting it out but got told otherwise by her LOL. We also tried treats and no luck.

2 fold question:

What should we do? Just let her be overnight and see if she stops?

How do you all train your furry critters to allow you to check their mouth and paws?
