I dunno if any of you folks around Halifax have been into this café lately, but what a change. Used to be one of me favourite spots to pop into with the wife or meet up with a few old pals for a coffee. The staff were always some kind and made ya feel right at home.
But ever since the new management took over, it’s gone downhill somethin’ fierce. I’ve talked to a few other regulars and we’re all sayin’ the same thing you just don’t feel welcome in there anymore. Seems like every little thing comes with another charge tacked onto it now.
And truth be told, I feel bad for the workers, ‘cause they’re still tryin’ their best and they’ve always been great to us. But if things keep goin’ the way they are, I think a lot of us longtime customers will just stop goin altogether. Shame really, ‘cause this place used to be a real gem.
