#Disclaimer: When I am writing this post I am just drawing parallels to Sikh community and Jewish community at no point throughout the post I am going to justify their actions, I also outrightly condemn their brutality and oppression to the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
That being said, I recently started studying a lot about Jewish history and how they have succeeded in the world. And I couldn't help but notice how both the communities have a lot in common, both Sikhs and Jews have survived a lot of brutalities and wars throughout their history but how positions of both the communities are so different. After holocaust Jews reshaped themselves they controlled the narrative of how Holocaust and ww2 was perceived throughout the world but events like 1984 genocide is under represented.
They have a strong influence over the politicians in the US, UK, AUS, Canada etc. through institutions like AIPAC but Sikhs have failed to get control in Politics in India itself where the population is the largest. I mean how many Sikhs are in Central Government and how many Sikhs qualify for Civil services exams?
They have strong educational support they are the leaders of technology many of the cutting edge technologies have been made by them and their industries.
They control the global financial institutions the biggest of the companies are in their pockets, and now they are even leading the AI race.
They have focused so much on the education of their community critical thinking, research, law, Science, economics you name it. They support each other and they make the children of their community study even if they are not their own. They provide zero interest loans to set up businesses. They are so united it doesn't matter to them if you are a Arab Jew, European jew completely different races but still United because of religion.
On the other hand look how badly we have suffered we are so divided on the basis of castes tu bhappa ae tu jatt ae tu ramgharia ae bc have some shame. Just look at the situation of Sikhs in Punjab itself adhe nashe ch ne adhe hawabaazi ch kinni world-class unis ne Punjab ch? Jo ek hundi si saadi o vi hun Sangh de under hojougi. And look we are presenting ourselves to the world har kisi nu vi bas langar khawande jao na koi saadi internal problems da solution na koi future planning. Gurudwaras have just become a tool for jathedars to earn money.
If sikhism is to ever prosper in the future we'd have to learn a lot from jews, we must focus on the education of sikh children in leading courses, irrespective of the caste. Suppress our egos. Make gurudwaras a community centre where how to prosper sikhism should be discussed not just a free food centre. And for fucks sake leave this drama of casteism if you want to follow casteism convert to Hinduism, there should be no place for such thing in Sikhism
