I made it to round 2 at M and one of the Bs for the internship roles. Very unfortunately got rejected but had very minimal feedback in both rejections. Does this come into consideration at these firms? Like does making round 2 make it easier to land interviews again?

So I just got rejected by both Bain and McKinsey in the final round and I’m absolutely crushed. I honestly don’t know where to go from here. For a while Bain was where I really wanted to be and I thought my interview went really well but I guess I just messed something up. I got rejected by McKinsey first and took that advice to Bains interviews and felt like I did perfectly besides a single miscalculation error which I recovered from. I don’t know where I’m limited and I just can’t figure out what to do from here. I don’t even know what I’m looking for by posting this besides advice or some sort of direction. I also reached out to Bain for feedback but haven’t heard anything yet.
