I have a 2024 LT with 32,000 miles on it. A while back I noticed water in the spare tire area . I checked on here and it was suggested that it was a third brake light leak. I did notice that the headliner was damp, so I took it into the dealer and they put a whole new light kit in.
I thought all was good, until I went out this morning and lifted up the cover and the insulation was wet and dripping with water on the left and right side, where with it meets the opening of the tire well. I do have a trunk liner and there were no signs of water on it, so I’m confused on how I’m getting water in the trunk. I did take through a car wash and it did rain yesterday, but I wasn’t driving it while it was raining.
I’m just kind of disappointed, that basically a two year old car has water leaks like this. I know I will need to take it back to the local Chevy dealer, but it’s very inconvenient. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks for any input!
