I started my YouTube channel on April 4th, and here's my 1-month progress.
Channel is about deep data driven business breakdowns, avg 12-15 mins and talking head style videos

I thought I did p decent with this one for a first video.

Just a bad topic and I did it because someone else did it and not my style or type of topic at all

Spent more time on this video and definitely was my style (I'm a data analyst so detailed breakdown)
I just couldn't find the packaging angle, but wanted to release a video to be on the once a week schedule

- 4 comments and one told me to keep going (made me smile)
Really studied my analytics and did the following:
- First 5 seconds validates the title/thumbnail
- Faster hook, end with a question to create an open loop
- Focused on 1 subject in the thumbnail, high contrast, 2-3 words of text max
- Wanted to improve AVD really badly and showed no mercy in scripts. If i was dragging or it didnt have a value add it got cut
But ye, pretty happy with the progress and happy to answer any questions and more than happy to hear your thoughts.
