I hear people talk all the time about not wanting big companies having their data or being worried about governments tracking them, but then we all just accept everything online without thinking twice

Like most sites hit you with cookies, tracking, permissions, and it is just click accept and move on. Phones always have GPS on, apps get full access to contacts, camera, location, everything. Social media is basically posting your life in real time. Not even judging, I do the same sometimes, it just feels like there is a disconnect between what people say and what actually happens day to day online. A friend of mine was talking crap about it and got me thinking.
