I cannot figure it out
There was a site my elementary school used to sponsor, called MyOn. It was an online “library” where we could read books on our Chromebook. There was this one series I used to read. The “books” ( if you could even call them that) were very short. Probably <100 pages. It had two girls, they were friends, and they would go to this fantasy land/other world. One of the most notable things was that one of the books had a cover with a dark haired and darker skinned girl was opening a jar of fireflies, and she was faced completely to her right. I think one of the girls had brown hair and the other had blonde. There was a love interest, jealousy, and the vibe was overall a little dark. But it was also a book I read when I was in elementary school.
I have searched high and low for this on Google, I’m hoping at least one person knows somewhat of what I’m talking about. I don’t remember much of the plot, I’m sorry!
