Working on this hummingbird piece doing 2 over 2 on 32 count and I thought I'd do over 1 on the birds themselves but with all the half stitch and the beading (the blank areas in the bird) I didn't think it would do well, so I decided to just do the head of the bird over 1.

But now I'm not sure if the transition is too stark or sudden or if it flows well.

What do you guys think?
