Hogwards Legacy is soooo much better in first person. Please try it. A big screen helps.
I play from the cloud/pc, which allows you to mod. Not sure if it’s possible with console.
Those who like to slow down and take a really good look at the world building, I recommend the first person mod via the official in-game modding option. The game get's sooo much better. Much more magical, atmospheric. Also gameplay wise. You can hide behind a rock, stealth, like Skyrim, and actually feel like you need to look carefully. It's so much more immersive. I played till the end of the main quest in normal third person mode and for some reason liked the game a lot, but always thought I could not appreciate the incredible world building. The world felt huge and small at the same time. Also, the main quest did not really grab me, but that's something for another discussion (the relationship quest were soooo much better! I really really enjoyed them). But when I started with first person mod, even though it's a bit janky, the world really opened up. I do play it on a huge virtual screen on a VR glasses, which helps with the immersive side. But anyway, that's it. Looking forward to HL2, hopefully with an official first person mod baked in.
