I need to replace the metallic piece at the bottom of the heel. I have asked my local cobbler and he said that this piece is french. He could not order one from his computer.

I have a couple of questions.

- Would anyone know someone in the Netherlands that could fix it?

- These shoes imitate the construction methods from the 20th century. However, the metal part wears out in our current pavements. Is there an alternative piece (that is not claqué) which could be added?

A lot of the tutorials I see online have you stamp your own design onto the book. I want to have a custom image on it. But im not sure how large I should make the image? Or how to do the guides that I see some videos have (as seen in the image).
