I’ve always thought about having a side hustle and vending machines has always came up to mind, recently, I’ve had an opportunity where a recently new gym owner I know is searching for vending machines for her gym. The stats I have are that there’s on average 200 people that go to this gym everyday and I was wondering if it was a good idea to jump on this opportunity.
Also, I know I’ve seen a lot of people say that the machine isn’t that important but more is the location, however where I live I rarely see any used machine that accept or are compatible with cashless payments, and I assume it’s pretty much required to make sales in a gym since not a lot of people will carry cash. So should I go with brand new? And I’ve been intrigued by smart-machines where the door opens up and the customer takes anything he wants, which makes it way easier to buy and will probably result in more sales. Is it worth it? For that location?
