Estate turquoise or gem silica?

Hi. I bought these from an estate. The original owner bought it as turquoise in Santa Fe in the 80s. I'm scratching my head here. It's very hard. A base metal pin did nothing, and it bit into glass. Very translucent. Gorgeous specimens that I thought was very well priced for turquoise... But now I'm doubting it's turquoise a little. No UV reactivity unlike the Zachary method stabilized rough Kingman my mom had.

What y'all think?

Closer pics from today's find

My partner's scale is on crack, it was NOT seven pounds, but it was a lot for $30. No mine attribution. That knowledge went to the grave with the lady. I don't want to make claims I can't back up, but this is some insane gem quality turquoise. It reminds me of the morenci on a lot of Bennie Ration's. It's been sitting in a drawer since the 80s.

The lady who passed away supposedly has a lot more, both in NA jewelry, and with rough.

I will report back.

Bought at an estate sale

$30. My partner asked if we could roll the dice on it, I didn't see it in person, I told them sure. I'm giddy.

Watch Mike become genuinely scared when a troll knew a little too much about him. Very bad shit went down in Élan. Some of the kids there were genuine psychopaths among chubby sensitive Jewish kids from the suburbs like young Mike.

He said he knows some of them have held a grudge for decades and have stalked him. "Red Head kid that had an evil aura. He was Satan.."

Is Mike in a shallow grave in the desert?

A good friend of mine owns a strip of claims in southwest Idaho. Looks like they found a good one. I'm going out there with him for a couple of weeks to help. Wish me luck!
