I (22F) was diagnosed with PCOS in 2022 and during that time i was put on Diane 35 till my cysts went away and my cycle became normal. I did not have much idea back then that PCOS needs lifelong treatment and maintenance. Recently tiny cysts relapsed and i was having more frequent cycles (every 20days approx.), switched my gynaecologist, and this time, this guy has put me on Myo-inositol (tablet Corectia XT), Metformin 500, Spironolactone 25, all for twice daily. Along with that he has given me Diane 35 for a short period of time, as i have been facing hirsutism again.

I am an extremely occasional drinker, once in 6months type of drinker. I know alcohol should be avoided when you have PCOS and when you are on such medicines. But can I not have alcohol once in a rare while? For that should i skip the meds the day before i would be having alcohol? Cause i was seeing Metformin sometimes has extreme side effects and you should maintain 12hr gap atleast to be on the safe side, and also, Spironolactone might cause low blood pressure.

I know medicines should not be skipped, but once in a blue moon maybe? I don't think skipping those medicines for 1 day can cause any other severe side effects? Can they? Cause taking them with alcohol seems scarier, honestly. I have never had exposure to these meds before.

Please suggest.

Hi guys, i have always been fascinated by Sanskrit and want to master it someday, as much as possible. I want to learn how to read and write in Sanskrit. especially with the correct pronunication, and understanding. But i don't know where to start from. I do prefer books more than online material, but i searched nearby areas but could not find much useful stuff, maybe also i am not that good at finding niche content. also, i am a native bengali, i can read and write in hindi, but honestly, i am of the same level as of for eg., a class 4 hindi student, so that might be a bit of a problem as well. but i would love to try that too. it would be really helpful if you all help me with both online and if possible any kind of offline recommendations in english hindi or bengali, i'd like to go through them all.
