Does anyone else have trouble/had trouble injecting themselves?

I am using tiny insulin needles, and unfortunately am a pussy.

I tried multiple times to inject myself in my stomach, however couldn't bring myself to push the syringe all the way in. I tried a few times, and would break the skin, however just couldn't bring myself to push the syringe further in.

Eventually my housemate agreed to inject me, and did so in my back fat, which was ok

But any advice on how to get over my fear? Any areas that might help?

Telling myself no pain, no gain over and over in my head unfortunately didn't help.
