Hi! Myself, my fiancé, and some of our friends went to West Virginia this weekend and I found this guy on the last night of our stay. It was on the floor by the doorway and near a fireplace and chair, if that matters. The lodge said it was a carpet beetle, then a tick, but they ended up reimbursing us for the night. I’m pretty sure it’s a bedbug or a cousin. We stripped all the chairs and beds and found absolutely NO evidence around. None of us had any bites or anything like that. We already all did the bagging, washing and drying, and then rebagging to isolate everything as soon as we got home. Luckily one of our friends on the trip had personal experience with BBs in the past so she knew the protocols. Sorry if picture quality is bad - we only got these ones before the staff took the bag. Thanks in advance!
