I'm in a well of emotions; sad, mad, bummed, aggravated, disappointed. I was in a rush yesterday evening a left my Manta on the back porch on my lounge chair, then it rained hard in the middle of the night. Around noon I was setting up my outdoor workspace and discovered my Manta under a cushion. It was W-E-T. I took the back off, dried it, took it to a repair place so they could clean it. I never woke it out of sleep and after it dried and it booted up, but the screen was finicky and ghosting like crazy. The mother board seems fine as I was able to access the files and the battery seems okay. After a while though it froze like this on my screen saver. The scribbly strokes are from when I was testing it at the repair shop and the colors are inverted. I'm sick at myself . This has become an essential tool to my studies at university. It's my journal and so much more. Thank goodness I use the cloud so I haven't lost any data. I'm big sad and feel terrible, my fiance bought it for me after I waited a year for it to release. We got it on the day they became available. Don't be like me.
