Got my portal not long ago after buying one about 8 months to a year ago. When I first got one it worked horribly through remote play. Nothing but lag, stutters constantly, and bad image quality. Just an absolutely terrible experience. Fast forward to April 2026 and I decided to give the portal another shot and to my surprise I've been playing it more than anything and it got me more excited to game. Im really loving it, I do have gigabyte internet and hardwired ps5 pro plus a wifi extender. Now I've had the same internet and the same console and the console hardwired when I first tried the portal and had that awful experience. Sony must have made some really good updates because this thing runs damn near perfect and the screen looks great. I actually so glad I decided to give it another shot.
