Asking here first because I’m an archivist.

Trying to figure out a) what schema to use to record an individual (I am not finding GEDCOM sufficient) and b) all the metadata fields I want for each individual.

You guys think a CSV file would be the best way to handle it? And is there anything popular with extensible fields?

It would be awesome to be able to open a highly detailed file with family tree maker or ancestry or whatever, but I don’t think that’s in the cards?
