Greetings to all LEO'S. Thank you for your service. I wanted to see if anyone out there in the LE community has or had experience in patrolling and working the ATL metro while assigned to Troop C with GSP. I'm in the testing phase with those guys and things are moving forward quite well. GSP has been my "dream agency" since day one. I would be coming from out of state and relocating and the whole shabang to join the ranks of GSP, Lord willing. The incentive pay for working ATL would definitely be helpful. I was told to solely request Troop C on the wishlist at the academy. It would be "very highly probable" and "very likely" that I would get assigned to that post. What is a day typically like with this post? I only have a general idea and overview as of now, which is "dealing with knuckleheads and working wreck after wreck after wreck for the entire shift." It would be nice to know what I'm potentially getting into. I'm on the outside looking in. And what does it look like from an insiders perspective and lens?
