Unpopular opinion
I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m honestly glad NASCAR didn’t throw cautions for the 78 and 51 crashes. More often than not, these backmarker incidents happen with around five laps to go and end up forcing an overtime, which can lead to some pretty Mickey Mouse finishes.
For once, we got to see a race play out naturally all the way to the checkered flag. Watching SVG drive from 28th to 1st under green in that short amount of time was genuinely historic in my opinion.
