i dont know if you guys tried to explain the canvas hack to your family, but i was trying to explain it to my semi tech literate parents, and my dad said:

"but why would they [instructure] pay the ransom if they already have the students' information? that doesn't make any sense."

🫩🫩🫩 so at that point i just gave up...
