Been following these posts since last June when I started tirzepatide, but maybe I missed it ... it has always been my understanding that compounding pharmacies exists because they are patient tailored, therefore, they can make these medications. That's exactly what compounding is - so, why can't they legally continue to make the medication for people like me that prefer a customized dose instead of going with the manufacturers pre-filled dosages? I started slow last June at 1mg and I'm now at 3.75mg - isn't that customization?! Am I going to be forced into a 5mg dose if they shut down these compounded versions?
