So i never thought id fall for a scam but i did. Went to sell a camera last night from donedeal and two guys showed up. I said id only take cash but after a long time of them letting me go through their boi app, i reluctantly agreed for them to send it to me through transfer. We stood there for 10 minutes at which time it never came through. They started getting aggressive saying the money came out of their account and i wasn’t Getting the camera back. The worse thing is, it looked like a legit boi app with my name and bank details on it. I had to let them go because it was 2 against 1 and i was in no state to defend myself. Going to the guards today. We met in a McDonald’s so hoping they have cctv. Anything that can be done? I know they guards will do f all but looking for some sort of silver lining. Always take cash people. Hard lesson learnt
