39F, 5’6”, 162lbs

I started working out in January of 2025 hoping to build some strength. I’ve done that— I’ve gained about 7 lbs. I’m struggling with feeling thick rather than thin/slender, but I’m happy with the feeling of being strong, not fragile. They weren’t kidding when they said it would take years to really see progress. I am working at targeting the legs/butt more- seems I just really like holding fat there. And my nutrition is good, but I’m not in a deficit daily. I just haven’t decided if losing the fat is a priority for me right now.

I attached my progress pics- a pic of my back during a “pump” (idk for sure if that’s what was happening but I sent it to my brothers asking how tf I looked like the hulk, but like an hour later, look like I barely workout- they said “pump!”), and screenshots of my workouts. I’ve been doing these workouts on rotation since April of last year— is it necessary to change them up? I DO get comfortable and like doing these same things bc I KNOW how to do them, but if it’s slowing progress, I’m willing to change it up.
