I’m 17 and trying to learn trading seriously before I turn 18 and can start with real money. I’ve been trying to learn trading for a while now and I’ve watched some videos to get a basic understanding but the second I opened up a demo account I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Everything looked overwhelming — charts, indicators, all of it.
I’m not looking to get rich quick, I genuinely want to learn this properly. A few questions for anyone who’s been through this:
• What actually helped you go from complete beginner to understanding what you’re looking at?
• Is there a specific course, YouTube channel, or resource that actually taught you properly?
• How long did it realistically take before demo trading started making sense?
• What do you wish someone told you when you were starting out?
I know trading takes time to learn and I’m willing to put in the work. Just need to know I’m heading in the right direction. Any honest advice appreciated.

So far, I've already built an AI idea validator tool — it takes your idea, market, and budget and gives you a full report with scores, risks, competition analysis and next steps. Pretty proud of it honestly.
